Question for people who believe in logic?

I used to think that logic was a logical thing to believe in until today. The other day i was arguing w/ a friend and I threw my cellphone on the floor on the passenger's side. I was driving and didn't get a good look at where it went exactly. I pulled over to the side of the road and was able to recover my phone and the battery cover but I could not find the actual battery I couldn't look anymore bc I was running late for work but I spent 10 min looking EVERYWHERE! under the mats under both seats....i even pulled out fabric looking for the thing. Today, same deal only I spent over an hour looking for it. I CANNOT FIND IT. It does not make any sense and the battery is not that small! I even looked in places that would be illogical like the glove compartment. I think that a spirit from above wanted to teach me a lesson so they took my battery from me. Can you think of a different explanation? I didn't have my window open and even the first time I got out to look for it i though it might

have fallen out and I searched the ground and it was not there.

my friend was not in the car i was talking to her on the phone

yes i looked on the side of the door...**** a new ******* battery is $60...trust me I looked

i can believe in logic as well as spiritual and unseen things...

things like that have ALWAYS happened to me... sometimes its because i am a scatterbrain and tend to misplace things, but sometimes i swear its just NOT THERE....

sometimes things take a strange bounce and go flying in a direction you didnt expect... sometimes, i swear, they just go missing...

I believe logic works, and I believe there is a rational, naturalistic explanation for what happened to your battery. Believe me, there have been things I've seen lost before that took forever to find even though it should have been easy. One time I and some other people lost an alan wrench in an almost bare room and didn't find it for something like two months.

Considering that you're suddenly jumping to the explanation of ghosts stealing your battery, it sounds to me like you never put THAT much store in logic. This world is a very complex one, with lots of places for objects to hide, and as they say, 'truth is stranger than fiction'. That doesn't mean logic no longer works for any particular reason.

This has nothing to do with logic whatsoever. If you need to learn a lesson about arguing with a friend, or the stupidity of driving while using a cell phone, then credit it to your spirit. Whatever it takes to keep you safe.

But don't trash logic just because you lost your temper and your battery.

Did you check the side of the door? In my car there is pocket on the side of door, where everything seems to wind up. I lost my debit card in the car, and I looked everywhere for it, and when I thought I was going to have to call the bank and tell them it had been stolen, I looked down, and there it was. In the side of the door.

how does this disprove logic...
logic means its somewhere-you didn't find it...
it prob bounced up! up and into springs of seat....
remove seat!
i have found coins and pens-and straws-ungodly things that one sould say "how in creation did that could there" things hit floor and bounce--energy expels back up...and that battery prob did same and got caught in under-casing of seat.... ect.

It's there, maybe it bounced up under the seat and caught on something up underneath.
