I don't belive that the "super" celebrities are maintaining their own MySpace pages. However some less famous actor, musicians, etc.are probably own MySpace themselves becasue they are trying to keep their name/image out there.

Some celebrities do use myspace and actually have friends they conversate with online. Others make movies that people can watch. Anna Nicole trying to cook an egg by yelling at it... P.Diddy pissing and telling everyone he's just a normal person like you and me. If you like the conversation keep talking to him. AS LONG AS YOU'RE IN HIS AGE RANGE. NO PEDOPHILIA.

Some celebrities are on MySpace and communicate to fans that way themselves (Shanna Moakler, Travis Barker, Ian Bohen, Dane Cook, just to name a few)... Others have sites that have been set up for them by publicists or fan clubs... and others are just totally fake sites set up by random people who have nothing better to do but pretend they're the famous person.

I don't think it's either. Celebrities probably have so much to do that they don't waste their time on MySpace. It's probably some 14 year old boy pretending to be someone famous.

Some of them are just fan sites, some celebrities pay people to monitor their Myspace pages for them, and some of them are genuine. I know Adam Sandler and Jenna Jameson monitor their own pages.

I doubt they are. There are so many freaks and weirdos in the world that are probably acting as the celebrities to see if they can get any free stuff or something. I'd just ignore it, unless you can find tons, and I mean TONS, of evidence that they really are.

I got a message off Saddam from Myspace and he said he was in it up to his neck so it must be the real people.

Dont get your hopes up honey. 9 cases out of ten they have a publicist examine out their websites and greater than a number of messages/comments won't in any respect get a reaction. it would be extraordinary in case you probably did! yet basically don't be upset.

sorry to tell you but its all promotion and marketing. I wont say its never them, but I really dont think so. Celebs will do anything for a larger fan base, after all the more fans they have that support them, the more they are worth. A general rule is to not believe it.

It says directly on their page that it is not them moderating the site. Just look on the site and there will be a disclaimer.
