Thompson Twins had a few good songs, as did Level 42, although most people won't admit to liking them! Shakatak were crap, can't remember the other one.

I used to love the Thompson Twins! Unfortunately there wasn't much to choose from in the 80's - music wise anyway! The 80's have a lot to answer for, take leg warmers for instance!! Yeugh!

Proud to say that the Thomson Twins were my very first concert!!! Still a big fan of all those 80's bands. Never heard of Shakatak. A few friends and me would like to take full responsibility for the resurgance of 80's music in clubs since the mid ninties. Thank You and Your Welcome!

Lessons in love. (sigh) It was just the coolest thing to listen to in sixth form.....what a bass line! And as for Shalamar - Baby I can make ya feel good! (whoa whoa whoa etc"- much dancing around with hairbrushes to that one. Oh those were the days.

echo what someone else has said. Got it on the brain now
"We are det-ec-tive! we are sel-ect! da da da da...."
