Because I can't see the clothing I can't make a full judgment; from what I can see however it does not look quite preppy. You have the black hair band/ribbon/thingy which leads me to believe so. The expression isn't JUBILATED! (Extremely happy) also. (Going of stereotypes here sorry =P)

The grotesquely over-sized eyeballs on the canned avatar images make them all look like little kids playing at being grown-up. They remind my of the preadolescents you see smoking "on the sly" who think they are doing something cool. Just plain silly, like a cheap Japanese cartoon.
