You'll need to see a fertility specialist, but first you need to consult your doctor, tests can more them likely be run though their office, they can then direct you who else to see, as for insurance you'd need to call your carrier and ask them, it's best to do this before making too many appointments. I also know when people are not trying and "stressing" about it, it happens.
Good luck!

Hello
My husband and I are also trying to have our second child. I had difficulty getting pregnant the first time and am having equal trouble this time. I do have PCOS. My infertility specialist is using medications to control it though.
An infertility specialist is the best person to go to, to make sure that everything is okay. There are several hormone tests and other radiology tests that can be preformed to make sure your system is in the best possible condition. As far as insurance coverage, it depends on the insurance plan, and the tests that the MD performs. Most blood work is covered, but many insurance companies do NOT cover "infertility treatment". The consultation with the doctor should be covered though.
GOOD LUCK!

Did you have a hard time conceiving your first too? I have a method that I used for mine. If you are interested in knowing it, just IM me and I'll share it with you. Mine is all about timing. There is nothing wrong with trying it to see if it works. No it is nothing invasive.
If nothing works, you will need to see a fertility specialist, and even though some insurance cover it, it can still be very costly. Good luck.

If you had no problems conceiving your first, you might just not be getting lucky right now. you can go see your obgyn and they will help you. Go in for a visit to talk about it. It would only be an office visit the first time to talk, and ask questions. They will guide you! Take a little break, relax, have a glass of wine and try again! :)

My husband and I are going through the same thing, but we are military and Tri-West pays for everything. I would talk to your regular doctor first, he should be able to give you tests adn such to make sure everything is on the up and up. Also invest in an ovulation predictor kit. They are only like 11 dollars at WalMart. Its a seven day test kit, that will tell you when you are ovulating, which is also the best time to have intercourse.

properly, i desire to advise going to google and typing in ovulation calender, or ovulation calculator, or ovulation predictor and form interior the guidance asked. they'll desire to understand the 1st date of your final era, how long your cycle is as an occasion 28 days, and a few ask your leuthal (think of it is the spelling) section, and that they say default is 14 days. that's how I conceived my final toddler, and it took us 2 months.
