Anyone else?

There's something very cool & nice about seeing a handwritten letter from a friend in your mailbox. (as opposed to your "inbox")

A letter is like a little present to open & read over & over. Not just delete.

Sucks that today's kids missed out on that....

I miss them too. If you have kids, why don't you have them write their grandparents or another relative. That way they can still grow up with the good experience.

I agree. Writing and mailing a letter in your own hand is such a gift of love. My brother who lives in England still writes letters to me in the US. When I see a letter from him in the mailbox, it is a tremendous thrill.
