i'm old enough to be laughed at if i told anyone that i'm afraid of the dark.
yes, it's true. i get weird thoughts when im in thhe dark. i also tend to always want the lights on at night not even a night lightie satisfies me.
how do i get over this??
my mom is fustrated with me and complaining about the light bill lol.

About the dark--just remember this one important thing. When you stand in the dark, you can see into the light better than a person standing in the light trying to see into the dark. The dark isn't such a bad place. Just because it's dark, doesn't mean that you can't see.

When I was younger I was never afraid of the dark except maybe the woods. Now I am! You have a fear of something else, it can make you afraid of another. The older I get the more I fear something. You just have to find out why?

Sit the dark with a friend for a hour or two just talking and do this every so often. then it is easier to be in the dark alone.
