Why does Santa Claus live at the North Pole?

Just to clear it up with everyone. I don't believe in Santa Claus (weirdo girl) I was trying to get an answer for my cousin who is six. Thanks.

Because up there he can see every where and plus nobody else lives there so he has lots of privacy. There's a really neat website called,"Santa Claus Village." You should check it out she would probably like it!

Because he wants to and because there is really noone else around so he wont be bothered when hes at work. oh by the way not to burst your bubble or anything santas not real and if you still believe in him I dont think your old enogh to be on this site let alone have a email address

Cause he does not get many visitors there. Imagine if he lived in New York City or LA

because its the best place that parents could think of so that they dont have to take their kids there becaues it is soooo far away and too cold.and its on top of the world providing the great illusion that he sees you when your sleeping ect
