Is it like complete agony, or is it like being set free?? Does it give a huge headache, and make the organs bleed?? I know everyone has tried this, in the pool or bathtub...or accident.... what is it like to drown??

I've almost drowned twice, and it is definitely no like being let free. On the other hand, it isn't agony either. It's more like pure terror. You fight to get to the surface, or get out from under something which is what happened in both of my cases. Your head starts pounding and your vision starts fading. It doesn't really hurt, it's just like holding your breath for too long, then u take a breath and water fills your lungs. When you break the surface though, it's like being re-born. That first breath is amazing and is the best feeling in the world. So yea, drowning is more terror than anything.

Most likely complete agony, you actually die from asphyxiation not "drowning" I think. If you got a headache or have your organs bled you probably wouldn't feel it because you'd be passed out by then from lack of oxygen.

Same as passing out on dry land, any of you people seen the series on the discovery channel about the Navy Seals BUDS class 234, they have an evolution on there where they have to swim 5o yrds underwater, alot of the guys pass out doing it and they don't freak out or anything,
you simple go to sleep and drown, its the same as getting choked out on land, you sqirm a bit then some bells then your out
off to the heavens with you

I have only felt like I was going to faint if I swim too fast.
