No! GW is the greatest President this country has ever seen and Osama is a savage terrorist who hates America and every thing it stands for. OH, sounds like he has more in common with the Democrats.

Nope. Osama is in hiding somewhere in the
hills. GW has been in most of our states giving
speeches out in the open and campaigning for
deserving Republicans.

Both George W. Bush and Osama Bin Laden have plenty in common. Let me underscore just a few things:

1. They both believe their military mission and their appointment, as head of their respective organizations, are divine mandates.

2. They both came from privileged backgrounds and much of their success is owed to their fathers

3. Both were marginal figures in their families and only came to prominence due to the belligerence and acrimony they disseminated around the world.

4. Both subscribe to a legalistic interpretation of their religions

5. Both Osama Bin Laden and George W. Bush hide behind foot soldiers from lower economic backgrounds, who die for beliefs that are espoused by both leaders, who won’t put themselves at risk. A caveat to that is at least Osama has, and is, putting himself in harms way. This is more than I can say for Bush.

6. Bin Laden and Bush are both connected to oil, and both of their violent enterprises are compelled by this natural resource

7. Bush and Bin Laden long for a return to more traditional times in each of their cultures where faith and militarism were deeply intertwined. Bush desires a return to the Christian dark ages, and Bin Laden harkens his followers back to the days of Saladin

8. Both men use tragedies to galvanize their constituency. Bush utilizes 9/11, while Bin Laden uses Iraq.

9. Both are given credit for their endeavors, though they are merely figureheads. The real strategic brilliance, if there is any, that is credited to each man, rightly belongs to their cohorts.

10. Most importantly, and most deplorably, both men require the innocent many to suffer for the sins of a guilty few.

Its sad that most people don’t see the striking similarities between the two men, that I was able to glean just upon a cursory examination, in the past ten to fifteen minutes. They are just two like minded children fighting each other in an over glorified sandbox called the Middle East.

Rich fathers helped them get where they are.

Oh, and they both believe killing the innocent is justified because their cause is just.
