For some reason the bans don't start straight after the red card...so maybe not.

if its a straight red its an automatic 3 match ban, however because its 2 yellows he recieved its an automatic 1 match ban ,you cannot appeal against 2 yellows only a straight red so he only misses the next game ......terry should not of got the 2nd yellow ,so its still a bit harsh

Had it been a straight Red he would have gotten a 3 game suspension. but he was sent off for his second yellow so should be a 1 match ban.

Seemed a close one to me but to be honest, Chelsea always seem to get the breaks, not today though.

I think they should be punished but come on. Chelsea vs Man United is one of the biggest games of the year. I think a red card should be a 1 match ban

No, only two match ban for John Terry cause that is the FIFA rules.

No it's a single match ban normally. But for a really serious offence they can be bought before a disciplinary committe who can impose a much tougher punishment.

Hopefully he won't miss the Utd game because then Rooney, Ronaldo and Scholes can kill Chelsea and the gloryhunters won't have an excuse !!!

Come on you reds!!!!!!!!!!
