Violence towards these ppl is only going to fuel more violence.
If that is not evident by now to you and others, then I don't know how much more evidence you need.
The only way to tackle the anti-American terrorism dilemma is through some major diplomacy but mostly, through incentives.
Take Palestine as an example... Palestine is impoverished, ppl are starving, etc... sanctions have resulted in this. Now ask yourself, they know they could get our aid if they just do what we say but is that making them listen to us? NO.
All that is doing is making them hate us more.
Instead of bullying these extremists that will die starving before they will be 'owned', how about using the funds we put into the military on incentives for them to build their infrastructure.
Think about it... if we helped Palestine build it's infrastructure and economy, would they not be grateful? Yes they would. Of course some would always fight.. but after a generation or two, you can't tell me their children wouldn't remember and start to question anti-American sentiment.
That is just one example but you the idea.

Perhaps the best way would be to start asking why they have become terrorists in the first place. To always deduce that we are always right and they always wrong is not very productive. If this planet wants peace we should all be more prepared to sit down with them and start being more prepared to compromise. On the day that the twin towers in NY came down and so many innocent people died, one journalist in Portland Oregon said this to me "WHAT ARE WE DOING TO THOSE GUYS FOR THEM TO DO THIS TO US" -- perhaps this is the thing we should start doing.... ask why and perhaps, just perhaps, we might start finding answers and starting to put an end to all this senseless killing. 1,000 soldiers killed in Iraq only in October and already 400,000 innocent civilians killed there !!! Are we serious in not considering that a DISASTER ???????????

What is the best way? You told us "to keep going until they are all dead". The problem here is that the issue is so profound and complicated and nobody is in ability to erase terrorism from the face of the earth, hence to "erase" all the terrorists. And if that will be done in the way as up to now..Lost cause!

I have an idea. Let's send them all our illegal immigrants. The terrorists will stay so busy feeding them, housing them and giving them free medical benefits that they will be too busy terrorizing us! We can kill two birds with one stone!! Who's with me?

I think we may need to research their psychological states some more, to understand how and when they will attack. But the govt. probably has already done that. I say kill them before they kill themselves

Killing people makes people angry, angry people fight back, thus terrorism is infinite if you try to destroy it that way. Fighting fire with fire, and on a larger scale, which is what Bush has been doing, only increases the problem.

If we all held hands and sang "Give Peace a Chance"and "Kumbaya" they'll think we are even crazier than they are and stay tucked away in their caves...

Not by: dropping food with our bombs (Afghanistan); kneeling before hoodlums in front of their 'holy sites' (Iraq); negotiation & bribes (Iran); building toilets, schools, printing books (Iraq); funding -- indefinitely -- refugee camps (Palestinian territory at large).
