if it is a straight line evolved from a curve, it works much better,but if is is curve evolved from a straight line then you WILL have trouble with it
and the subject will pay the ultimate price for this mistake
so please pay attention tot he variables in your equations of your control functions, because if you do not, the manipulative's will control it all
and I think you know what happens when that happens....

how do the manipulating, responding, and controlling variables function within the system that you are dealing with. If its science, then tell how the variables in the experiment change the experiment adn identify the variables as well. I think that that is waht the question means

I believe this questions means that you are supposed to "identify" (meaning write down or single out) what the manipulated, responding and controlled variables are in a particular system. Hopefully in your class you've learned what a manipulated variable is, a responding variable, and a controlled variable is. (I'd tell you, but i have no idea) After you single out what they are, talk about their role in the "scientific system" which is most likely an experiment). My best guess is that you either performed a science experiment or your teacher demonstrated one and your job is to identify what the variables were and why they acted how they did. I hope that helps and makes sense, I tried to be as clear as possible...
