There are actually a lot of great resources on the web. One of my favorites is The Baby Name Wizard, a fascinating blog on all things name-related. There is also a tool that lets you explore the popularity of different names by years. http://thebabynamewizard.ivillage.com/parenting/

I also really liked the forums at babyzone.com. There are a lot of helpful people who have thought about this a ton.

If you're up for a laugh or just a warning, check out this site: http://www.notwithoutmyhandbag.com/babynames/ It's called "Baby's named a bad, bad thing," and it's extremely funny. Some of the names are unbelievable, and the commentary is great.

If you're up for a trip to the library, look for "The Baby Name Survey Book." It's a book that catalogs people's reactions to popular names. If you're worried about how different names will be perceived, it's invaluable.

If it makes you feel any better, my husband and I fought about the subject forever before we finally agreed on something. It just takes some patience, a willingness to compromise, and as many options as you can find.

Our son's name is Elliott Richard. If he had been a girl, the name would have been Grace Evelyn (took us a long time to agree on that one).

Anyway, best of luck and congratulations!

My fiancee & I eventually came to an agreement & we don't know the sex either. Baby is due in 3 weeks & we have decided on Kelsey for a girl & Josh for a boy. all depends on the baby's surname that's what we had problems with. Good luck & happy hunting. Also check the website- www.babynames.co.uk its got lots of names to search through. happy hunting. Goodluck!!!!

there are way too many names to list, do a search for baby names, most sites also list the origin and meaning, just be aware of how that name can be changed and nicknames can be given, sometimes good other times bad. Also you need to see how it flows with your last name. Good luck!

Me and my fella had loads of rows over our baby's name. In the end we got a baby name book and each went through it seperately writing down the names we liked then we compared lists. We kept going till we found a name we both liked.
