i bought these 2 pairs of jeans, washed them on "Gentle" and put them in the dryer on "Air" for about 15 minutes (no heat on this setting), and they still seem stiff and I can't button or zip them. *I have another pair that are the same brand and same size*, and the fit better........What should I do?

Use fabric softner liquid on the rinse cycler in your washer. When you place them in the dryer use fabric softner towlettes in the dryer.

You should wash them again and use 2x fabric softner. I had some stiff jeans and this did the trick.

it my take several washes to soften up the jeans. i would soak them in warm soapy water before each wash. when new clothes are made they are sprayed with a substance to make them resistant to moths and silverfish which eat the material, maybe it was over sprayed
