Ok, what about the fear of talking about how you voted?
Everyone talks about the elections and politics but very few people will wear a pin or a ribbon or talk in public about their personal politics.... it's becoming a paranoid guessing game.
People are afraid that they will lose their job or embarrass their friends by revealing whether they are a Dem or Repub....
It never used to be like that.
My parents remember a time when Republicans and Democrats had very cheerful and respectful chats about their picks for office.
Anyway, thats just something I've been thinking about lately....

Or on a lighter note, you could write about how Halloween and Thanksgiving are completely ignored in favor of Christmas now...
The stores start merchandizing for Christmas in October now and just throw a few old scrappy items on one small shelf for the fall hollidays.....
