Who exactly knows? Only the Supreme Creator knows.

Believers rely on the story of creation - that makes Adam and Eve the very first people, who had the Creator, Satan and angel along with them.

If we base it in theories of evolution, say for example the Darwin's Theory, then nothing so far has been established as an exact information of who were the very first people - just we know that people are believed to evolve from apes. Whenever was the exact time for that and who the first people were, I am afraid nobody could tell.♥

Well since you are categorized in the science section and not the religious one, I assume you're looking for the scientific theories of where life originated?

I believe current theory suggests the earliest evidences of mankind point to Africa as a possibility for where humankind originated.

Sometime around July of 2002, I think, Michel Brunet and Patrick Vignaud of the University of Poitiers in France and a team of international researchers discovered a skull in the Central African nation of Chad, which was dated to 6- to 7 million years old. It could well be the oldest human ancestor ever found.

However, no one really knows. All we really have is theory, which changes everytime new evidence is uncovered.

Studies of mitochondrial DNA (which is inherited only from the mother via the ovum) suggest that we are all descended from humans in Africa. We then migrated north and outwards following food sources and so on.
Isn't that ironic, even the whitest of white bigot has his origins in Africa.

The answer to that question all depends on your beliefs. I believe in evolution and the idea that all people evoled from primates but if you are religious then I'm sure you would say Adam and Eve.

If you mean "The first modern people", I would give my vote to the Cro Magnons, who lived about B.C.E. 40,000.
