It depends on how much you want to spend and the type of hotel you prefer to stay in. At this late in the game, you'll be lucky to find something on the strip at a reasonable price. Plus, because it's New Year's, they'll probably require at least a 2 night stay on the MOST expensive nights. Try the Golden Nugget, downtown, as well as the hotels off the strip. You might be able to find something at The Stratosphere ore even Circus Circus. You can check for rooms on www.hotels.com or www.vegas.com. It's also a good idea to call the hotels directly. They only offer so many rooms to the discount websites.
Good Luck!

Would be difficult to find one at this point in time - plus if you do the rate will be very high - Vegas is one of the top places to visit during New Years - reservations are made at least 6 months in advance.
Try the website www.lasvegas.com - Good luck :)

You probably can still get a good room, but you gotta pay really big bucks to stay over New Years. Be prepared for $500 a night and mandatory 2 or 3 night stay.

For this New Year's? Good luck. You'll be spending an arm and a leg - if you get lucky enough to get a reservation.
