Each year I seem to come up with one stand-out gift idea for someone. Last year it was a gift card to a movie theatre that was part of a chain (Marcus Theatres). In fact, I did it for two of my nieces, one is 9 yrs old, the other was 17. They both loved it because they get to see the movie they want, and I had enough on each card that they could take a friend and also get something from the concessions stand. So I think I'll do it again this year for the little ones.

Hope this helps!!

A great Christmas gift is naming a star after someone. last year i did that for my father and he really liked it . the one i gave him came with a certificate and a map that shows you how to find the star. It was defiantly a good gift and it was pretty affordable, I plan to give a couple more this year to. I got mine from this website called www.mystarname.com its defiantly a winner in my book.

Walgreens is great! They have perfume gift sets, candy, candles, etc. They, too, have gift cards for various restaurants (Red Lobster, Chili's, Olive Garden, etc.) in various amounts. You can also get a Blockbuster or a Toys 'R Us gift card at Walgreens. It's great...no need to run to those specific places for gifts.

This company has a temporary site and is having a promotion for the holidays and you might find some good things you can stock up on especially from their sports center link.

I am putting together shoe boxes with themes. Individualized for each persons preferences. Small, inexpensive items they will use. I did a larger one for my sis. It contains, soft p.j.'s, slippers, bath salts, candles, nail polish and remover, nail kit, bath sponge, soap, chocolate's and a stationary/journal and pen. She's big on meditative baths so this will be perfect.

One idea for an entire family is a computer. You don't have to upgrade it too much and now computers come cheap.
