My rock, sally-wally, has a "pale" spot on him... he looks like he is not breathing... what should i do for my poor pet rock?

Ah...this is very common in pet rocks. Its a syndrome called "aspecatamy" but its nothing to worry about. It more-or-less means that your rock is prone to being stressed out and hence pretends to be dead. Just give him his favourite foods and lots of time in front of the TV and he should be fine in a couple of weeks (and nice relaxing bath might help too, especially with the spot). If you're really worried then you might want to take him to the vet but this isn't really neccessary.

I think you should put him to sleep. He sounds like he is in pain. There are plenty of other rocks out there. Hope he gets better!

Maybe you should throw him in the yard with the other rocks where he belongs...
