Theyre worse! I stayed there for a year and the general public were very frosty.
I made a lot of good friends however but if you went to london not having a job I dont see how you would make friends at all as no-one talks to each other on the street, at a bus stop etc.

No. The London in Eastenders is no reflection on what London is really like...

For starters most of them are English.

Have you been to London recently?

Aah no, defiantly not. I can assure you that a large proportion of English are very friendly, just like myself who was brought up to have manners and not to be rude, that was the old English way! I must say now that England is not England anymore with our heavy proportion of immigrants, we now have a proportion of every country and state who live in the UK so more than likely you have come across rudeness by a person in england who has come from either France, Poland, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, India, West Indies, Germany, Zimbabwe & many more plus soon to join us are Romania & Bulgaria, we are now a multi-cultural nation that accepts every tom, dick & harry, that's why the remaining brits are miserable as we have been overtaken by lazy doss louts who come over to recieve our generosity and claim everything! Surely not difficult to understand the poor british plight!

I wouldn't want to live in London. I would not be surprised if they were all miserable and nasty, it looks grim to me whenever I go over that way.
