i JUST, literally, just finished, reading The Will of the Empress, by Tamora Pierce. I was awsome. I kind of tied the looose ends of her serice Circle open series. With the four kinds who get theri power and magic madallions at the age of 13. it is a really good series allher books are good. i am starting the Terrier book, which is a ledgen to one of her other series. One problem with these two books you have to read th other books to understand what is happening, but a areally good independent book is tithe: a modern faerie tale, by Holly Black it is really a modern day story, but it sticks with the agreed upoon , restrickstions of the faerie world, there is also Priates by Celia Rees, which is a two story person( two people are the main characters and conside together) it is enthrolling, and if you are looking for a short series books look no farther than Witch Child and Sorceress by Celia Rees, they are a modern day fictional reall bizare feel oing on. i can't explain but at least look them up. I really like books that is why i gave so many. If you are loking for more sujestings i will watch you for a week and just post the questions in this area, like for more books or something.

In the last week.....how about recently? The Five People You Meet in Heaven was great. Also enjoyed Life is So Good. GREAT book about a man who learns how to read at 90. Amazing to read about his life (takes you back to different time periods). Best of all, it's a true story.

Absolute Friends by John le Carré. The ending scared the hell out of me. It was very pessimistic about the future. When I finished reading it at 3:30 AM, I couldn't go back to sleep.
