A diva is a female lead such as in an opera, referred to as a Prima Donna, therefore the term is applied to popular singers in modern or popular music or maybe even any type of celebrity.
It is not always flattering to be referred to as a diva, because it can also mean someone is a total brat, undisciplined, self-centered and inconsiderate such as many of the current pop stars running around acting like queens of Sheba without an ounce of real talent. That type of diva you would not want to become.

Attitude girl - it is all about the attitude! if you go around projecting an image and attitude of being something and truly believe it in your heart - then you are a diva! or a butterfly or whatever your dream may be!
