It is normal to have a few hairs around your nipples but if you have many and you are also more hairy in other areas I would suggest that you see a doctor and be tested for PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which is a disease that cause infertility later on in life. The most obvious symptom is excessive hair.

If you have hair around your nipples it could mean you have too much male hormone in your body. They are called androgens. Don't be alarmed. A simple blood test can reveal the problem.

My ex had a few hairs on her nipples. Sometimes I'd grab one in my teeth and pull it. Maybe that's why she's my ex.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO don't shave them off.....they'll come back lie really bristly........can you say electrolysis??????? Just find some chick at a beauty salon that does it, it won't hurt, and you won't be embarrassed to show them off instead of looking like to big brown hairy eyes peering from under your bra. don't let others scare you about diseases all it is is hair, there's no big mystery or ovarian stuff your not going to die........all it is is just hair, that will develop into nothing more than a crop if you don't, get rid of it.

yes that is really normal most females have hairs around their nipples. I thought it was weird when i first noticed them but i was reassured by doctors that it 's perfectly normal.

Yes, unfortunately for some women, it's "normal". Pluck them out, eventually they wont grow back.
I knew a chick who had a regular hairy chest, it was GROSS and she didnt pluck or wax. No, it was really a woman. She was just hairy. We'd be like "Debbie...please...don't wear a tube top if you're not gonna braid your hair!" I know, that's nasty.
