anyone thought of an amazing invention, only to find some smart *** has already done it or it's just missed being possible! mine's the computerised football referee (microchip in the football boot of each player and the ball, laser beams around pitch and goal..transmitted onto screen, no more offside disputes..not bad for a girl eh!)

There is already a similar system that relays video information to whoever wants it. However, the point is that the ref's decision is final. The referee is a very important human element in the game, to replace him with a computer would take a very important piece of heart out of the game, although possible, it will never happen. The ref's discretion, although oft wrong is integral to what we know as 'the beautiful game'.

Found a way of preparing hot chocolate and making it come out all bubbly, and thought I could suggest the idea to Aero manufacturers, only to find out they had already produced a bubbly chocolate by a different method.
