Homework is just a review of what you learned in class so that it will stick in your brain. Most people learn from repetition. It may seem pointless now but you will appreciate it when you grow up and have a great career and income.....look me up and let me know if I am wrong about that but I can bet on it, lol...there's nothing like being able to go to the mall and get the stuff you want or being able to afford vacations and your bills. It all starts with having a good education.

Honey, it will only takes 30 minutes to an hour for you to do your homework and then get back to yahoo answers...just do it as soon as you get home and the rest of the evening is yours. :-)

Homework is designed to reinforce what you have learned in class and give you a chance to practice it. Moreover, homework, gives you a chance to learn valuable lessons that you will use later in your life such as time management. If you can do all of your homework for all of your classes and still have time left to spend with your family at the end of the day, you have learned a lesson that will serve you well for the rest of your life.

You learn by listening, reading and doing. Yes you get to listen to the infromation in class, but the time to read it carefully yourself and do things with the infomration are limited in the classroom. If people learned just by hearing things once, the world would be a wonderful place. You need to hear it, use it , internalize it before it becomes part of your usable memory and that takes quite a few times of repetition

well it's so teachers know we actually understand what we learn. some people don't pay attention in class and how would the teachers know if they don't test you through homework and stuff? l hate homework too, but there is a point to it.

For many people, homework is pointless...

actually, its to review what we have learned in class so we dont forget it (too soon...). in case, one day, we look back and laugh at another human and say "ha! i knew that!"

too much is NOT good.

the point of homework is to get a person to know that topic and stay familiar with even after they test on it because they may need it later on in life

Because there is not enough time in a class to get what you need to know..Therefore you take it home read it, work on it and digest it for future use. Get use to it because there will be alot of it in your life in almost everything you do..you'll need to research, find answers etc etc to alot of things and then have to retain that knowledge for your use..Good Luck
