I dont think he should hang either.....if that is the case then we wouldnt have any leaders left to rule...he should be reprimanded but not with his life....besides he has a enough progeny to start a couple more regimes so killing him is not the answer....it is not like he blew up the towers...Osama did that

How nice to hear that you actually agree with Pope Benedict XVI and in case you are having difficulties with audio, The Iraqis have sentenced Saddam Hussein, not the USA.

Saddam killed his own people everyday. He followed the Stalinistic way of governing. YES he should hang.
You say "US was instrumental in facilitating that decision" but I say he was the most instrumental in his own destruction and hopefully he will go on to reap the rewards of his own tyranny

The U.S. is NOT hanging Saddam, the Iraqi government is. And by the way, have you forgotten this butcher killed over 100,000 of his own people? If you like Saddam so much, why don't you offer to take his place at the time of his execution??

It's not the US that is going to hang Saddam, it's his own country. They're the ones who held the trial. It was Iraqi judges, jury and attorneys, NOT U.S.!
And to answer your question: I don't know. It sounds creepy and I kinda cringed when I heard the verdict, then again, think of all the horrible things he did (personally as well has ordered others to do) to people--tortured, maimed, killed--men, women and children.
Nothing will ever make THAT "right", will it?

i think of it is going to do extra harm than stable. Saddam's execution has been rapid-tracked and it sounds like he will swing in the previous Christmas. It would desire to be rigidity from the human beings to do away with him so Bush can tutor what "stable" he's doing in Iraq. humorous factor is, even the worst criminal in u . s . is going by years of appeals mutually as on dying Row. Saddam will probable basically would desire to attend some weeks.

I take it you didn't read the news. the US has nothing to do with it, its all his country...he was sentenced to death for the killings of 148 people back in the 80's. do you really thing that someone that killed that many people should live? mind you some of those people were women and children.....
