Thank you for your answers. I am really not aware of my wireless card.

I have an inspiron 700 M computer with intel centrino chip. So will that have a seperate wireless card?

A review of Inspiron 700M says it has a built-in wireless interface,

Control panel
Network Connections
If you see a wireless adapter present on that screen then you have an internal.
If you do not, this means you will have to purchase one for your system.
