I have been trying to make friends here in a new country (singapore) but its been really so tough for me.. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks..

Being open and going out of my comfort zones are things i've done. what i need would be more realistic ways.. probably by joining some sort of club or somehtings lke that>???

Well, since you're living in a new country, no body there knows who you are, you have the chance to start over, you can be whatever you want over there because no one knows who you are. Get out, do things, talk to people, make conversation. You have to be willing to step out of your comfort zone for a bit to get used to this new country. Go to school (if you go to school still) and get involved, thats the easiest way to make friends. If not, go out on the weekends, or get online and find a chat room ( i know that sounds dangerous, but there are SOME nice people!) either way, in time, you will make friends it just takes time getting used to. The key to making new freinds is to be nice to everyone at school. Find something you both like and they will come towards you. I had a hard time but then I did what I just told you
Crack a Joke or invite someone over to spend the day with you to see how nice ans sencible you r

Join the gym, very nice people tere. Volunteer your time. Meet people over the internet.

be friendly at all times and remember its the first time in a new country so anything will seem adnormal keep your head up high and dont be afraid of any one

Talk to other people whenever you get the chance. Don't be shy and have more confidence in yourself. Be yourself and you will make friends. good luck

smile at someone who u want to be frends w/ and goup to thm and say hi and then like start a conversation

try putting a elastic band around your head, and make sure it stretches the eyes

you should be yourself don't annoy ppl and just be friendly and open dont lie cuz it will turn on u you should just socalize more and talk to new people
