Which Should i Choose?

I know several people with 360's who are unhappy with them. 2 of them have already had to send it back to microsoft and pay $50 for a new one due to freezing. There was/is a class action lawsuit regarding this where Microsoft was replacing 360's. I'm not sure if this problems still exists but they overheat when they are on their side. One my friend owns won't automatically log into his account making each game take about 45 seconds longer to setup when weeding through the profiles and what memory drive to load games and settings off of. All this and the lack of good games even though its been out for around a year is very disapointing. Also, not every Xbox game can be played on it. It has a certain reverse compatability list that occasionally gets updated.
As for the Wii, it seems like a no brainer to me. The controller does look weird, but I would wager the poster above me has never held one or tried using it. From what I hear it's much smaller than you think and very comfortable.

Why not get both? At E3, the guy from Nintendo said you can buy the 360 and the Wii and you will still pay less than the PS3, which is 600 friggin dollars! Just save up all the Christmas money for the real deal. Don't lay eyes on the PS3, though. You will go broke.

wii is the obvious choice, for many reasons to start with the 360's overheat when they are on their side. The wii has a less chance of overheating and come on it looks awsome. PLUS the exbox 360 is way more expensive and harder to maintaine than the wii. And by the way most the games out there for the 360 are realy cheap.

Dude this is what i have to say. GET A FREAKING XBOX 360. THEY FREAKING RULE!!!! Both me and my best friend own one and LOVE them!! They r and will be the best console ever. Get the 360. I have did a TON of research on the Wiis and yeah they r a good console for a beginner gamer but someone who really like to play action games with or without Ur friends then go with the xbox 360

xbox 360 by far. The Nintendo Wii has the worst controller ever.

WII because
1. It is more cool
2. It has more chances of not breaking down
3. It has more chances of not overheating
4. The games are more cool and exciting
5. everyone i know that has an xbox are jerks trying to be cool
