Saddam gets hanged and Mugabe gets a knighthood, why?

Yeah. As an American I can say that our country is still pretty racist, and Bush is a Texas cowboy who had tons of people executed. In fact, Saddam would be executed faster if he were black.

prince familiar give me a break. Crimes against humanity? true saddam was a killer, but to try to use the crimes against humanity thing is pointless.
We liked Saddam until he made us made by not letting us buy cheap oil, he was beating up the iranians who had taken americans hostage a few years earlier. This whole thing is a big act and a joke. Look at Darfur, Somalia, Tanzania, Indonesia, China, Cuba, North Korea, Libya, Israel Palestine, the list goes on and on of nations that commit crimes against humanity.
Oh lets not leave off the good ol' US of A. The iran contra scandal, nicaragua, panama, hawaii, Iraq, Vietnam, Cambodia, the continent of Africa.
Sorry, but if any one really cared about crimes against humanity the world would have a lot more wars going on.
As for would saddam be executed if he was a black man...I dont know why his race would have any bearing on the atrocities he committed. I am really thinking hard and cant see why that would matter, of course i think the whole thing is theatre, except for the saddam dying part anyway.
There are other things at stake here besides saddam.

It shouldn't matter whether he's black ,white ,yellow or green, he deserves to be executed for the dispicable things he's done, not only to his own people but also the prisoners that were captured, whilst he was still in power. Personaly, I think that " hanging " is to good for him, he should be first, given a taste of his own medicine ( by that I mean tortured ) and then Hung , Drawn and Quatered and left hanging at the gates of Bagdad, for the buzzards and all the rest of the wildlife to finish him off.
