yrs. So they are pretty dusty. Can I just run a shower on them? Is there a specific way to clean them? If I set them under the shower...would it ruin the baskets?? Thanks

I sit mine on a small stool for drainage in the shower and use a light, slightly warm spray, then let it sit and air dry. It takes no time, dries fast; and no, it does not ruin the basket.

There are also silk plant/floral cleaning products on the market that you can use to clean and give a nice shine. Some are aerosol and some are just a spray bottle. You can find it at craft store where you buy silk plants and floral. If they are really dusty like you said, I would probably go ahead and spray them down outside with a garden hose to get the excess dirt and dust , then once dry use the cleaning product. It is also good to use for ongoing maintenance to keep silk plants and floral arrangements looking fresh.

The shower would be the best way--better if you have a handheld shower. The baskets would be OK getting wet if they're fiber (i.e. wicker). If you're concerned about the basket, you could put the tree in the tub with the basket hanging over the edge.

I use the garden hose outside. Then just shake the tree to get the bulk of the water off.
