IF we are to believe the teachings of the Old and New Testament that our lives are mapped out for each and every one of us before we are born, and God is all-knowing and all-seeing, can God be found to be guilty of "aiding and abetting"?

By way of added information, I include info of a 2001 film - Man who sued God - a film in which a lawyer characters' boat was struck by lightening and the Insurance refused to pay up due to "Act of God"; because one can't "sue God" he sued the Church instead "as His representative.

We are taught the teachings by the Clergy from an early age, so, can the theory of a story be put into practise in the real world today in the 21st Century?

Suing God for striking your boat with lightning, is like trying to sue your Dad because he took away the car keys. That, and the clergy have no say in God's plans and they themselves barely understand God, and know him mostly as a mystery.

Also, what the lord giveth he can taketh away. Since this guy wants to sue God, he believes their is a God, and that he was created by God, however you want to see God, since he gave you life to enjoy, it doesn't make sense to go and complain about smaller issue's. It your life is a living hell then I can see why one would question why God even put him or her to life in the first place.

If God is to blame for these things or not, is paradoxical, because without him, we wouldn't be here, and we wouldn't care about a good life or a bad one. However, I suppose you can sue God, but if it is not hypocritical, then not only will to the trial fail to materialize because the lack of a true defendant, but also in that any Church cannot be held responsible for nature, not can their attempt to explain the mystery of God be held against them.

The way I see this question, its not weather you can sue God, but weather you can cause some excitement in your boring life by asking such a stupid question. You woke up with the thought in your head,"I wonder if I can cause any excitement in Yahoo Answers today". Then that same thought died of loneliness.

Another thought I had is that you are a militant atheist trying to stir up some conflict. I tend to agree with this thought more then the other. Fess up and tell us all your true motivation.

God had a resident agent in Jesus who was executed and rose on the 3rd day. Good luck in serving Jesus with court papers. Go away troll!
