The only guidelines our teacher gave us was 1. We could do anything we wanted, it didn't have to have anything do with what we have learned. 2. The person, event, or idea had to be a catalyst of change. Yeah, he is a lot of help. It is a 5-6 page term paper. If anybody has some good ideas for essay topics. I will give the best answerer 10 points. Thanks. Toodles!

Abortion.
Eating Disorders.
Hurricaine Katrina-The Rebuilding...I did one on this and there was a lot of great information.
Teenage parents.
Underage drinking.
Depression/Suicide

Find something you find interesting...because it will be much easier to write the paper about it. Ideas will flow if your interested...but if you really don't want to write it about your topic...you get stumped. I've found being interested helps a lot..so do some research on a few topics before you decide on just one.
