Most pro-choicers say its their(woman's) body, their chocie... along with it has nothing to do with government, or for people who just think its wrong "if you dont like abortion, don't get one" right?....

Well riddle me this... The 16 year olds that don't tell their parents or even over 18s with no husband or job go to the clinic and can get an abortion for free... Oh but wait... its not free, the government picks up the tab using our taxes!!! Now it is our problem, it does effect us. Now its back to being a political issue. (Most) republicans would say something to the effect of "we will use your taxes to support single mothers and we won't use your taxes to kill children." (Most) democrats would say something to the effect of "we believe that its not wrong to abort an undeveloped fetus and we will give 'X' % of your taxes to clinics to help women in want or need of an abortion."

Am I making any sence people? Give me your thoughts on this arguement.

With the availability of birth control , I have over the years lost my support of abortion. I don't believe that taxpayers should have to pay for abortions if they are morally opposed to abortion but the other side of the coin is taxpayers footing the bill for all the health costs and welfare benefits for a poor child to be raised by a teenage or under educated mother. There are no easy answers.

Years ago my then newly ex- sister-in-law (recently divorced, but still sleeping with her ex) found herself pregnant , she made the trip to an abortion clinic, I went with her for support and to drive her home - to make a long story short - she had to sign a form stating my brother raped her so the clinic would get paid , he hadn't - he didn't know about the abortion until after. She didn't want to raise another of his children ( he paid support )as she had just started dating someone new. The clinic sealed the form so no charges could be filed(sweet as there was no crime) but it smelled of fraud and greed to me. Ever since I have lost the vision of abortion being the only option.
Sorry to ramble but there is no clear answer to abortion.

Well, you started with saying taxes pay for abortions-like where?
I disagree with your premise-no taxes paid for abortions in this state. Add a link if you have some documentation. And I don't think Republicans are happy to support single mothers or that Democrats are all happy to use taxes for abortions. Also, parental notification is the norm these days....

It seems many of the women who have an abortion don't want to go on welfare. No easy choices alright..

I cannot decide if you are more worried about the loss of the child or if you are protesting paying the bill. One is a morality arguement and the other is being mercenary. Which is yours?
We cannot legislate morality and we cannot force all women to love a child they carry. We cannot force all men that father a child to become a father and support and nurture that child. For me, abortion is very wrong and I would never have one. But I do not rule the world nor can I pick and choose arbitrarily what someone else may or may not do. Abortion is not a decision to be made lightly nor is it a method of birth control. Those who seek it have to deal with their own morality and standards of right and wrong.

Oh God, give me a break!!! This is so stupid....I mean those young girls and single mothers who have the babies & go on welfare are more of a drain on the taxes, are they not? And what about the kids who are unwanted & unloved and turn to crime as they grow & end up in prison? Oops, even more of a drain! Face it, not everyone should be having children, especially if they don't/can't love it & take care of it!! And don't get me started on the thousands of other scenarios where the government picks up the tab for people (not involving children). It's called SOCIETY. Get used to it.

Abortion is woman's choice and personal matter between her and her doctor.

In my opinion, I would rather my tax dollars go to clinics where women can get abortions for little or no cost than to go to welfare offices which in turn go to these women to help support their kids who shouldn't of had them to begin with if they cannot afford it. I don't like the idea of abortion, but when it comes down to taxes, that it what I believe.

As for the person that said it should be a man's choice for their girls to get an abortion because not he is stuck paying for 4 kids he did not want: you cannot force abortion on someone and if you didn't want kids you should wear a damn condom!

Because they suppose its homicide and so much cant see each side of the fence. I'm an followed little one. I used to be fortunate to truthfully get followed by means of an overly loving household. Not each person is so fortunate, there are plenty of youngsters nonetheless in the market fending for themselves in foster residence after foster residence. When I pay attention of men and women complaining approximately different men and women making the individual and personal selection to get an abortion, it makes me ill. Yes, in a reasonable quantity of instances it's the character's fault they bought pregnant and technically they will have to simply guy up and deal with the little one. But each person makes use of the age ancient notion of "good in case you cannot deal with it, go away it to anyone else to take action... placed it up for adoption." Since this choice is so a lot more 'larger' than "murdering a fetus', we've orphanages stuffed with undesirable youngsters. I do not always like abortion however hell, its now not my selection to make. What you do does not fairly impact me by any means nevertheless it does placed one more undesirable little one on the earth that can or won't discover anyone who will love them. I think like one of the most abortion protesters do not suppose of that, they're so worried with the now they do not suppose approximately the way forward for the undesirable little one. They have got to keep in mind that now not each person is so fortunate to get followed.

Asmuch as I don't like to admit this, I had an abortion when I was 18. No Dad, No money, No help, Still in college. But, I paid for it, not the government. The government gives money to all kinds of things we probably don't go along with and unless you are willing to take it upon yourself to get it stopped, if it even could be, just get over it. And I am still pro-choice.

WHAT IS THE VALUE OF A LIFE?

would you rather pay to stop an unwated (possibly unloved) and deprived life?maybe let the mother have the ooportunity to support her self and maybe one day a family?

or would you rather pay to support an unwated (possibly unloved) and deprived life for 18 yrs. (maybe more) and the mother?

kids, you do the math, not only in $. you may call the ban of abortions "saving lives" but everytime a pregnant woman gets denied an abortion two lives are being ruined and everyone still pays.

It doesn't matter "how we feel" about this, what matters is how the pregnant female "who needs the abortion" feels. If she feels its in her best interest, then the abortion should be available for her, and I've never heard of an abortion paid by taxpayer money. Its always been paid for by the patient who needed it as I understood, unless the mothers life was in danger.

The only sense your making is that your trying to get people upset over abortion and if you do, I feel sorry for those with so little emotional control.

Abortions away!

I would rather pay for these women to have an abortion then have to pay for the government to take care of their children through welfare programs. I see that it's a better option that they get and abortion then it would be for them to have the baby and then have the government support them and their child due to the fact that they can't support themselves or the child.
