Since I can no longer needlepoint because of arthritis I have begun to do Decoupage. You can buy inexpensive cardboard boxes or wood boxes or just a piece of wood. Look at WalMart or any Craft store. Paint them with Craft paint then add a picture (it can be something you like out of a Magazine) Add the Decoupage and you have a very nice gift for someone. Be creative. You can use Stensils, Rub on transfers any number of things. Very easy.... Hope this helps...

They could make coasters out of cork and pictures, either ones you run off on a copy machine or old cards cut apart, or calendars, magazines, etc. Glue on the picture with rubber cement, and put polyurathane or clear acrylic over the top.

We had our old ladies (in the home i work in) making xmas cards last year because you can buy all the parts like the inserts the things to stick on e thfront and all the really need to do then is stick it together and is was a wonderful keepsake for their relatives

depending on what kind of clothing it is you can make a memory blanket, a purse, or use the faberic in a scrap book it always adds somthing specil to anything you make.
