Uninstall IE 7 - it's completely rubbish and messes with your computer. If you can't uninstall it go to system restore and roll back to before you installed it - DON'T try to install it again - it's a disaster - countless people are constantly on here asking for help with it - just don't bother it's not worth it. IE6 is fine so if it ain't broke don't upgrade it for no reason.

your computer is mostlikly full of junk from the old expolrer. there are manythign you can do to help. a few:

go into your windows folder adn delete all the half visible files that are in the first few lines, these are junk files windows uses for restoring.

download win XpManager, adn use it to clean your pc. and uninstall all the jusnk programmes that your dont use.

also BCWipe is good for cleaning raw bits from your harddrive. you can get thema ll from

google ->stoftex meganet.

also in the new internet explorer try clicking tools and then delete browsing history, delete everything.

finally give it a defrag .

if this dont work, check for viruses or spyware. use something like zone alarms security suite pro, from the site above.

very good fire wall and anti vires adn other stuff.

if its still going slow then maby its just getting old, try invvesting in a new harddrive. other than that get a pro to do some tweaking to it and maby think about getting a new one.

You may have to do a system restore and take your computer back to before you downloaded IE7. I downloaded the same thing and i have not had any problems with it.Maybe you need more RAM (memory).

It may be a virus on your computer.
I suggest that you download the free version of
AVG or if you have dial up you should get DSL or something a bit faster.
