I love the springs in the fall. i'd come in October and November. Make sure you go up to the mountains... royal gorge, cave of the winds, garden of the gods, manitu springs, pikes peak etc

While I love the mountains when they are majesticly blanketed in snow, it's not the best time for tourists....unless you're a skiier, and then you wouldn't be visting the Springs.

There are lots of outdoorsy things to do in the Springs area. Go in the fall when it's cooler and the leaves are changing the mountains. Mid-summer is just too hot and while the spring is nice, the colors are just lovely in the autumn.

really any season is a good time to visit it is beautiful any season of the year it realy depends on what you want to do while you are there

I recommend June, it is warm, but not hot and there is no snow!
