Yes! After many failed relationships you get discouraged that you may never find Mr.Right so you become less picky. I just turned 26 in October at this rate I'll be 90 by the time I find my Mr. Right so I became less picky. I've expanded my dating must haves for men I date. Its not easy but I want to be married with children oneday and this will be the only way.

I know that I have gotten more picky as I have gotten older. I know what kind of guy that I want to be with and what I don't want to be with. I guess it all depends on past experiences
I am personally not setteling for anything less then everything.

Well, Dan, usually, they develop some discretion. By 25 you've learned that not every handsome face is a decent person. Qualifications shift from looks to competency. Is he working, what does he drive, where is he living? Is a relationship with this person going to enhance my life or drag me down (again). We learn.
I'd have to say our standards get tougher the longer we date.

No I think I got more picky...I had had relationship bef that I learnt a lot from and I knew myself better knew my worth and wanted more things in a man...I think ppl with low self esteem get less picky.

I got pickier, cause who I dated as I got older could end up being the father of my children. I became really picky, I don't want just anyone helping me make and raise babies.

I'd say NO. (notice caps). Definitely for me (and those I know) the criteria for who you date as you grow older gets amore and more stringent. Your priorities are maturing, you are becoming used to yourself, your ways of doing things, your values, your beliefs. Finding someone who matches or complements all those only gets harder with time, but of course it can be done. Never lose hope! And never settle down before you're 30!! :)

they don't get less picky, but they do tend to know what they want! therefore, there is less time for casually dating and guys can be weeded through in a flash!
its a good thing... believe me, saves on everyones time and heartstrings.

Yes I think the ones in their 20s want a older man to take care of them and spoil them and 40 and up want a young good looking guy that makes them feel younger and that they still got it after all these years.
