Got circumcised a few months ago (I'm22) and I've heard on here that other guys have a BROWN scar line from their circumcision. I have no brown line on my penis. It's just a pinkish discoloration underneath the head, with a bumpy line that meets the shaft skin. So why isn't mine brown?

The brown or brownish circumcison scar color occurs only when a clamp, particularly the gomco clamp, is used for the circumcision. Perhaps 75% of all neonatal circumcisions in the US are performed with the gomco clamp, so most of your friends probably have that brownish scar line. YOu were probably cut by a sleeve resection or other non-clamp technique and so will not have that noticeable scar line

Perhaps it's because the scar is still new. I know that my scar from surgery started out bright red and then turned to a pinkish color and is now starting to fade a more fleshy color(I just had surgery in June). I do know that stretch marks are like scars and they start out purple and fade to a clear flesh color. I'm assuming that the reason yours is still pink is because it's fresh and hasn't had the time that most men's circumcision scar has had to heal. You might want to talk to your doctor though to confirm that it has healed properly and to talk about your concerns with your scar.

Perhaps simply becuase you weren't a baby when you had it done and your scar is so much younger than theirs.
the scar is yuck - be happy yours is closer to a natural skin color.

Generally less noticeable scars are preferred. I wouldn't worry about it. You just healed well.
