It is a social traditional thing for women to wear a skirt, and a boy or man today in western culture would stand out in a crowd and most likely thought to be a cross-dresser. If you want the open air feeling, go with a kilt and the rest of the traditional attire which goes along with it. Simply wearing a dress or skirt is not bad as such for a male, but is frowned on by most of society, though women wearing men's clothing is totally acceptable. I'd call that a double standard I think.

Well,if a man with goood taste in skirts would wear one im pretty sure he would pink a cute hot pink mini skirt or blue jean skirt but only if he had nice legs and a good body.If you were talking about a fat man then he would and/or should wear a shoe length skirt which is very lond to match his very curvy body.But why would a man want to wear a skirt?He would be a crossdresser or a fairy(gayfer)!!
