Yes he has!!!

Bush as successfully bypassed Congress over 800 times using what is called executive orders...

Some of those executive orders were for his Faith-Based Initiative programs that clearing violate separation of church and state; therefore, are unconstitutional. The fact that they were unconstitutional in itself constitutes 'too much religion' interwoven in the government.

IE, HR 921 moved the Faith-Based Initiative headquarters within the Homeland Security department. What does that tell you? It tells me that defending against terrorism has something to do with Christianity.

The only reason no politician has challenged these is because of politics... painting them as anti-religious.

The constitution was based on Judeo-Christain believes, so it goes back farther than Bush.
But I personaly, and I am a blue voter, do not believe that Bush has done more than other Presidents. But he definately has combined religion in government policies alot and has used religion as a way to identify with voters.

No, Bush has not combined religion too much with government policies. Many people believe church and state should be separated. However, religion and government go hand in hand. Our country was founded on a christian point of view and with all due respect should still hold its morals.

Church and State should be separate. Religion should not dictate the policies of government. We in Britain got rid of that centuries ago. Religious bodies can have a say in the debate of policies but they cannot dictate them.

i think of the main mandatory high quality of a presidential candidate is they have a sturdy concepts and a feeling of justice. a sturdy concepts maximum mandatory to comprehend all of the subject concerns which crop up and a sturdy expertise of cultures of different countries is very significant too - like somebody with a international View no longer basically their own u . s .'s view. i do no longer think of faith concerns as long as he/she is a questioning individual. Public expectancies like gay marriage, abortion etc. properly this is often evolving and a President hopefully is likewise Open-minded approximately all subject concerns. i might ought to assert re faith that i'm Agnostic at this point and strongly have self belief in evolution of each little thing in the international and if there's a God then he set each little thing in action in an evolutionary way.

I asked God the very same question. He told me that He does not need politicians of any persuasion. He wants to remind folks here that, after all, He is all-powerful. He's opposed to any coercion on behalf of one religion or another. He also told me which religion was the right religion, but of course that is not related to the question you posed.
