How do i get my game to connect to my Nintendo wifi connector?

I just bought this game called Animal Crossing but it will not connect to my wifi usb connector. My other game Mario Kart doesn't have this problem cause i can automatically connect on there, but i'm having problems connecting Animal Crossing. Help!

To go on it you must be on the wirelless internet NOT a usb connecter
