Very much worth it. Playstation is acually losing money on each unit they sell. Consider this... Xbox360 20gig model + 50$ online service + 100 dollar wifi adaptor + 200 dollars for an hd dvd drive = 750$... Ps3 has everything already for 600$. Some people are retarded, the games are 60$, which is the same price as an Xbox360 game. Personally, i'd go Ps3, or a Wii. If you like Playstation, and can spare the money, it's worth it. The price won't be going down too soon..

I very own a PS3 60 GB and it replaced into worth it. 360 isn't as sturdy. Blieve me you will love the PS3. I genuinely have additionally put in yellow canines Linux on my PS3 and that is fantastically darn cool. the only draw lower back to me replaced into I had a 64MB sport card for PS2 to pass all my video games saves over to the PS3.nicely the PS3 would not take my aftermarket card. So had to borrow a friends 8MB card and wreck mine up into products. yet I genuinely have a 360 additionally and have faith me the portraits are far greater effective on the PS3. some human beings would be speaking appropriate to the sport decision (hi 360 HAS BEEN OUT for fantastically much 2 YEARS). additionally they're going to say inspect the money discounts (upload YOUR HD DVDchronic on your 360 for yet another $2 hundred) If it have been me bypass the 360 and bypass out and get you a PS3 do no longer neglect to purchase one greater controller. i bought one greater controller and function it charging even as fidgeting with my different one. Yeah you do no longer could purchase batteries for the controllers like the WII and 360. Wii's are ok for the funds minded gamer 360's are for the final gamer PS3 are for the hardcore gamer sure I very own ALL 3!!!!!!

Athough I only owned the PS1 as a playstation product, the Ps3 is definately worth it, why? It has a Blu Ray player which plays Hi Def Blu Ray movies. Stand alone Blu Ray players cost over 1000 dollars! The Ps3 has it all for only 600 bucks! True this is a very expensive buy, but if you are willing to pay for it go for it. Naw mean?

Hell yeah, but that all depends on how much you like the games that are coming out for it. If you like FF13 and Metal Gear, then you HAVE to buy the PS3. But if you are a Mario fan or multiplayer fan (like Halo or Phantasy Star), then maybe you should just put that off and buy the Wii or 360. Playstation has always been the leader in 1-player games, if that's what you like, then hell fricken yeah.

There are plenty of good games still being made for PlayStation 2. Plus the Wii is relatively cheap and introduces you to a new style of gaming with its new controller. I say keep your PS2 now. It's still a great system, then buy a Wii.

Since it doesn't release until 2 more weeks - how could anyone answer that?
I personally don't think any game is worth that much.
