You need to cite the source every time you use it for an idea or a direct quotation. However, it is NOT good to cite ONE source repeatedly while not citing others to support your assertions. Reliance on one source when you do research results in a book report, not research. The idea is to find and use as many resources as you can, but do NOT rely too much on only one. I hope this helps.

I don't see why you couldn't reference a particular text or author as many times as is relevant. However, unless the term paper is about a single author or text, be sure to also include numerous other relevant sources in order you validate your point.

i think that u cite as many times as u use their source but im not very sure
