You won't be able to do much with just a bachelor's in History. You would need to get at least a master's degree in History to find a good job in the field. Even with the Biology in secondary education minor, you will need to be certified in your state to teach. History teachers in secondary education seem to be more in demand than Biology teachers, at least in the state I live in. Secondary education includes both junior high/middle school and high school. Go with high school if you choose the education route. Junior High/Middle School kids are "hormones on legs" and are often more difficult to teach, depending upon the school.

It depends on how good you are in history and biology and also on the demand of teachers of the school you are planning to apply for a job. If you are good enough with biology you should just stick to it since you can get more jobs with biology besides education. But if you are good with history you could try working at some university and dedicate to do research.
My advice, do what you like the most. If your goal is to be a teacher then try researching or asking in the schools around the area you are planning to live after you graduate.

In my TE program, we have to have a minor so that we should be certified to two subject matters when we graduate. Your pay will be determined by the school and their unions, although how much they want you will depend on what you will teach.

I think it would depend on which school your were to work for.

Which field do you love, hence you would enjoy teaching? If you enjoy it, you will be good at it and then you will be a better teacher. If you are good you will be in demand and then can demand the higher salary.
