Work from inside out.

First, distribute the 6 to the x + 5. There is no inside you can do here so you do the next thing.

6x + 30

On the other side of the equation, you can't simplify (3 - x) so you do the next thing, which is to distribute the negative. If it helps, think of it as adding a negative one, which you have to distribute (the -1) to what's in the parenthesis.

(-3 + x)

Now we can get rid of those parenthesis because this is basically what we have:
[x + -3 + x]

This can be simplified by combining like terms.

[2x - 3]

Now we distribute the 7 over the entire thing.

14x - 21

Now your whole equation is:

6x + 30 = 14x -21

Isolate your x on one side of the equation ...
by subtracting 6x from both sides:
30 = 8x -21

and adding 21 to both sides
51 = 8x

now dividing by 8 on both sides
and you get
x = 6.375 or in fraction form x = 51/8

Remove parentheses, working from inside - out.

6( x + 5) = 7[x - (3 - x)]
6x + 30 = 7[x - 3 + x]
6x + 30 = 7[-3]
6x = - 21 - 30
6x = -51
x = -51/6 = -17/2

x/3 + 7 = -5 x/3 + 7 - 7 = -5 -7 x/3 = -12 x /3 * 3 = -12 * 3 x = - 36 opposite operations to flow it to the different part... you upload 7 on the left so that you may want to subtract seven to get rid of it and also you do an same component on the right. you're diving by technique of three on the left so that you are able to multiply to get rid of it on the left and also you do the smae component on the right.

6x+30=7(2x-3)
6x+30=14x-21
51=8x
51/8=x
6(3/8)=x
