How many of u always answer questions with only ONE thought in mind- best answer? like, u don't even care about the people's questions, lol, u just want a best answer. u pretend to be all nice and give the best compliment, just so u can get best answer? lol

personally, i just like answering questions but some people want best answers lol. it's nice to get them, sure but i like answering the questions.

I just answer the question that is posed, but I usually try to be more explanatory than some responses. A yes or no answer doesn't really say anything for the person asking. I think they are usually wanting a more detailed answer that may give options or a good reason for why the answer is what it is.

Here's how i answer a question. When i pick a question to answer, I try not to look what everybody else put, then that way, if I get the best answer, I can honestly say, that I didn't copy anybody's answer. I try to answer questions in a helpful manner, I never think about what to put, in order to get the best. There have been time's, where i'll give a stupid answer, but i only do that, when I know somebody is trying to be funny or ignorant, other than that, i try to give my best.

I try to answer the persons question as best I can. Sometimes I am not always nice- but feel if someone is asking they may need to have brutal honesty.
For the most part- I am a nice person and have always been the one people go to for advice and answers. That must be one of the reasons I enjoy coming on here.

I only answer questions i care about or know something about. I do answer them with the intention of helping that person find out whatever he/she is asking. Getting best answer is only a bonus, but its not a for sure thing.

I've answered 5,391 questions, 267 of them were chosen as Best. That's only 4%.
Obviously, I'm not "trying" to get Best Answer, although I do appreciate my answer being selected by the Asker, especially if there are a lot of other answers to the question.
To me, it means I gave a witty reply, told them what they wanted to know, validated their opinion, or gave a compelling rebuttal.

No I like anwering questions. And some people are dealing with some things that I am. If I'm bored I'll find a question that I can answer. I don't really care about points. And if i need advice or help with something I 'll ask a question and people'll answer it.

Depends on the question - if it really hit home and I can give a thought-provoking answer in an area this is familiar to me - I will give a detailed answer. I prefer to answer questions, as I don't want to appear to ask the same question that has been asked over and over.

Well of course we all want the best answer...thats a duh....but I am honest. If I make someone mad I know I won't get a best answer...but I am always honest and sometimes I make people mad ....but that is life...you can't win them all.


And sometimes I answer in one word adn don't even try for the best cause I am too tired to think....lol

I was thinking about that just 2 minutes ago! I couldn't care _less_ about getting a best answer.. what does a best answer get me? points. What do they get me? Next level.. What does that get me? Jack. All.

I don't care if I never get another best answer.. It's about helping people, the FREE alternative to Google Answers... not about getting urself an elevated status in the community.
