Actually, this just guarantees that some will view him as a martyr.
We claim to be more civilized than the Middle East. If that were really the case, we would spare this man his life, because our civility is best measured by the compassion we show the most evil and despicable among us.

i just think it soo suspicious that the trial verdict came on such a convenient moment for the republicans :)))
by the way i do mind that they condemn him to death by hanging... find it unnecessarily cruel. and yes i know what he did to others but becoming more like him does not make us, as a society, better.
Ps. i congratulate the middle east for removing a tyrant placed there by the states and england

Regardless of who it is and what they do, I don't think we should rejoice in ANYONE'S death.
I agree, he will be seen as a martyr ro some, but also understand that if kept in prision, there is always a risk that something will be botched and he'll escape in my opinion.
I think it's sad we're cheering for the exact same thing that this guy did - kill ppl! It's the world we live in I suppose.

I think a hanging is letting him off too easy. he deserved to be put in jail for life. But the worst jail where he would get butt raped and stabbed.

that's great and all that we got another countries president executed for doing terrible things to that countries people. but, i have one question. where's osama? i mean don't you think that we should be focusing on someone that has had thousands of u.s. citizens killed in the u.s. before someone that has killed his own people?
