I hate my house hold we all get along well enough but my wife, son and step daughter are pigs! I am at the point I want a divorce. Is there being slobs grounds for divorce??

I can't stand sloppy people. Heck, I get upset even if my bf puts a sock on the floor. It's like, "Would it KILL you to put it in the HAMPER?"
I think you should talk to your wife, son, and step daughter about this. If they don't straighten up, I would get a divorce. At least then, you can keep your own place tidy without having to clean up after them like a maid.

He is objectifying women! You have a third party participating in your marriage. The sanctity of your marriage is being disrespected You are not enough for him. Unfortunately you are going to have to ask him to leave! You have every right to feel the way you. Porn is kinky and lovely at first, for everybody until people start to grow up and mature - then it only continues to be kinky and lovely for the people who haven't grown up and matured. Some people never grow up. The people that do grow up (normally the wife) gets very irritated and angry that the husband hasn't grown up with her and she starts to feel diminished and less of a woman. Soon the wife starts hating what her marriage is turning into and she hates what she's turning into - normally a resentful, angry, bitter woman who no longer enjoys the simplicities of life and no longer smiles. No woman should be subjected to that - and really no woman should subject herself to being the object of man's fullfillment! Cuz that's all women on porn sites are, OBJECTS!! It is unfortunate that you have a child w/ him and that you have two other kids from another marriage. I'm real sorry about that - but you'll only become more miserable and therefore become a miserable mother to your children. You need to "man up" and take the reigns of YOUR life and don't depend on this creep! Because you might as well not be with him now if he's got porn to satisfy him!

For better or for worse.......
If you can't stand the mess, clean up!
Chances are when you start, she will help.
Let your family no that a mess drives you crazy.
Set guide lines.... no toys in the living room
... food only in kitchen
... chore list for the WHOLE family
Maybe it is such a mess, they don't no where to start.
Grab the kids, and wife and start throwing out the junk.
Make it a family clean up day, with kids there has to be a reward. Something you all could do together.
Nagging and complaining only causes tension, actions speak louder than words!

as a wife of a slob i think you should say something and offer to help. depending on the kids ages you need to tell your wife that now is the time to teach children to be neat and clean and that you are willing to help if she will put forth the same amount of effort

I feel for you. I've been there. It is a tough situation. I don't know what to tell you. It's not like you can go on strike because they already don't do anything. Maybe you can cut off their money supply or something if that is a possibility. Good luck to ya!

was she less of a slob before you got married?.... maybe she is depressed... have a talk with her about this... and be clear that this is a serious problem for you that you arent just nagging her or putting her down... ask her what you can do to help ... (besides doing EVERYTHING yourself)
maybe she is overwhelmed... maybe getting a housekeeper would help....

Do you love them or not? Seriously, are we talking about leaving food and other stuff around that's a sanitation issue, or just leaving newspapers on the table? If it's a legitimate issue, just clean up after them and let them know you are taking care of them because you love them. If it's not a real issue, just chill out.

Make them all aware of it .Announce that everyone in the house they will clean once a day everyday for one half hour. Make them do it . No exceptions!
